Drivetrain Progress Report

Meeting: Monday October 3, 2016

For this team meeting, we discussed the progress of both portions of the project (Android and Python Development) and what everyone has been working on since the last meeting. We shared ideas for improvement and assisted each other with certain individual issues we may have been having.

Updates with Python Development:
  • Managed to have the Raspberry Pi Sense Hat display the message symbols P, R, and D. "P" for Park, "R" for Reverse, and "D" for Drive for when the car is in these positions.
Updates with Android Development:
  • Progress with coding for the functioning of the speedometer has been made
  • Coding for the framework of the Tesla dashboard has begun.
  • Android interface has been designed and set up

Meeting: Thursday October 6, 2016
  • Finished work on Sequence and Class Diagrams 
  • Created a podcast explaining each diagram and its workings
