Week 2

Week 2  has been little busy with lots of visitors in town as the weather has been good. There has been lots of minor issues with the internet service to which my hat to make a couple of phone calls to Comcast. For this, I ended up rebooting the getaway  while Comcast resenting signal. Another, I helped one of our guests to recover the password for the Windows 7. The trick was to do this was to go into the safe mode, and it gives prompt to log into the administrative account which had no password set to it.  From thereon I went to user account and delete the user. Saved lots of time of reinstalling the operating system.

Week 2

This week was a way to ignite whatever i learned throughout my time at Penn State. In fact, there wasn't much failures in the challenges of this internship. I was able to utilize my skills and apply them to this job. This week i was able to replace a laptop screen and continue using Microsoft deployment system to re-image a couple computers, so students are able to pursue an education. 

Also, We have to setup IPad's so students can use them for examinations. Performance series was loaded and saved on the IPad's. My co-workers and i are enjoying working together and we continually enjoy helping each other in problem solving certain troubleshooting. 

Working along with co-workers i noticed how we all are a great asset. I enjoy helping and making sure the job is done the right way the first time. 

Week 1

Good Evening,

This week was more of an introduction to what kind of tasks we have to complete.
I get a ticket sent to my phone and i have to physically visit that class room or office to fix what problem they have.

One issue was a computer that was dissembled and my goal was to put it back in working condition.

We also learned how to use imaging server to reinstall windows

The other task was to setup 35 IPads for an AP biology class.

-Got the files waiting on each other
-Tested the files on 2 raspberry pis and 3 xBees.

After the team leaders met to discuss and implement a structured template for our project presentation, our group edited our section by moving the information from our original slides while also deleting some. Additionally, we added:

• Code snippets
• A timeline of our milestones
• A diagram representing how the keyless entry (Android App) works between the user, SSH connection and output
